New4You presented its first 2025 donation of $80,000 to Shepherd's Table and Voices for Children Montgomery. Each of these local charities received $40,000. In 2024, we gave them a total of $160,000.
Representatives from the charities and shop volunteers (pictured above) agreed that our customers, who supply our inventory (at no charge) and/or buy items contribute visibly to their philanthropic work.
Shepherd's Table used our donations to fund the third series of their Culinary Skills Training Program and to provide more than 46,000 meals from Jan. to March. Voices for Children Montgomery reported that our contributions were instrumental in its continuing efforts to expand its services to children in foster care.

Bethesda Magazine recognized New4You for 2025 as a Best of Bethesda finalist as it did in 2023 and 2024. Under changed competition rules, for the first time, New4You received awards in two categories: consignment and retail and vintage and antique shops. When the store opened in 2021, the magazine's editors named the shop as a "Best New Place to Shop." As stated in the January 2022 issue, page 107, "Downtown Bethesda gained a shop that is big on space--and also big on doing good--you never know what you might find, but you do know you're helping those in need when you make a purchase."

Customers found this glass table at the shop and sent us this photo with their artistic decorations under the glass top. Small furniture is very popular, so its always a challenge to keep them in stock. Do you have small pieces, such as tables, dressers, bookcases, lamps, and chairs that you no longer need? Please consider donating. Call ahead to ensure we can place it in the shop.
