Thanks to our wonderful customers, donors and volunteers, yesterday New4You was able to present Shepherd's Table and Voices for Children Montgomery with donations of $50,000 each. Shepherd's Table will use some of this donation to help fund their eye clinic, which provides free eye exams, glaucoma screening and prescription eyeglasses to our neighbors in need. Voices for Children Montgomery will put our donation to work making sure that every child in foster care in Montgomery County has their own Court-Appointed Special Advocate fighting for them.
We were honored to be joined at yesterday's presentation by State Senator for Maryland District 16 Sara Love. Senator Love got a tour of our store, met some of our founders, board members and volunteers, and got to hear from the charities that we support.
It is not hard to make a difference in our community. Your donations of gently used items to New4You and your purchases from our store become essential funding for wonderful organizations like Shepherd's Table and Voices for Children Montgomery.
Please keep your donations coming! We accept donations when the shop is open.

Bethesda Magazine recognized New4You as a Best of Bethesda Finalist for the past 4 years, 2023-2026. After opening in 2021, the magazine named the shop as a 2022 Best New Place to Shop: "Downtown Bethesda gained a shop that is big on space--and also big on doing good--you never know what you might find, but you do know you're helping those in need when you make a purchase."
